Meanwhile, Styxx rode his horse as fast as he could, letting it spirit him away from the palace and the inner city of Didymos. He'd had enough this day! He couldn't take the scars, the insults and belittlement. The torture that was put upon him. He was done with it all. Love? There was no one in this world that loved him. Not his family, that was for certain. They'd be happier if he was dead. To them, he was little more then a pocks in there lives.

When he finally stopped his horse, he was in a field near the edge of a cliff. He patted his horse, one of his only friends before dismounting and removing the horses tack, letting him go off and do as he pleased. No reason to keep one of his only dear friends bound to this life either.

He then screamed, a scream of pure agony and frustration before approaching the cliff. It was obvious what his intention was, and he certainly didn't intend to put up with this agonizing life any longer.

Styxx was surprised by the sudden interference, and every part of him tensed as if ready for a fight of some, but he had paused. He'd wanted this moment to himself, not to be interrupted. It wasn't as if anyone would miss him anyway, so why would this person try to stop him, but he had no intention of jumping as long as someone watched him. Every part of his being wanted to not care, and yet here he was on edge because of this woman. Why had he stopped? Why had she stopped him? He just wanted out of this miserable life. Dammit!

He wasn't showing any sign of anger, and was composing himself quickly enough as she approached. He was mostly mentally cursing the fact that someone had seen him. Yes, his mind was in turmoil, but in the end.....he was a coward anyway. Someone that wasn't would have still jumped and not stopped when someone had yelled.

"What would you be doing out here, my lady? It can be dangerous." He asked, keeping himself composed despite what he'd just been about to do. If his father heard of this, he was going to end up beaten for days.

So it seemed, though Styxx had managed to pull himself together at this point and wasn't about to show his weak state to her. It was bad enough he'd been spotted and she knew what he'd been doing.

"Yes, I imagine it would have been, my lady." He replied politely before leaving the ledge with the intention of heading back towards Didymos, his attempted foiled by the lady before him.

"You should be careful out here, my lady. Please allow me to escort you back into the city."

"I could not live with myself should I leave you alone in this place where danger could lurk, my lady." He replied. It wouldn't be gentlemanly for him to leave her out here alone. Besides, surprisingly, he couldn't hear her thoughts and it was a relief to say the least.
