He wasn't showing any sign of anger, and was composing himself quickly enough as she approached. He was mostly mentally cursing the fact that someone had seen him. Yes, his mind was in turmoil, but in the end.....he was a coward anyway. Someone that wasn't would have still jumped and not stopped when someone had yelled.
"What would you be doing out here, my lady? It can be dangerous." He asked, keeping himself composed despite what he'd just been about to do. If his father heard of this, he was going to end up beaten for days.
She frowned, but the concern overshadowed it. "Clearly," she responds, in reference to the danger. "I couldn't imagine a fall from this height without wings." It's not accusatory, but it's obvious she knows what he had intended and is thoroughly shaken by it.
So it seemed, though Styxx had managed to pull himself together at this point and wasn't about to show his weak state to her. It was bad enough he'd been spotted and she knew what he'd been doing.
"Yes, I imagine it would have been, my lady." He replied politely before leaving the ledge with the intention of heading back towards Didymos, his attempted foiled by the lady before him.
"You should be careful out here, my lady. Please allow me to escort you back into the city."
"I could not live with myself should I leave you alone in this place where danger could lurk, my lady." He replied. It wouldn't be gentlemanly for him to leave her out here alone. Besides, surprisingly, he couldn't hear her thoughts and it was a relief to say the least.

She shook her head, making no moves to follow him. "Thank you for your concern, but I'm just fine, my lord..."

"I appreciate your kindness, but it truly isn't necessary. I'd be happy to walk with you a while, even if you're headed to the city, though."
