Of course it would start pouring down rain the moment she lost herself in the trees. While she was grateful for the cover it provided, both visual and audible, Dove sighed as she pulled up her hood and continued on, winding through the forest on her all too familiar path to the church. He’d just… have to deal with her soaked through.
Not that she thought he would mind too much, especially when she showed him the bag of goodies she now clutched her her chest under the coat. Her visits were growing more and more scarce as things for her people began to slip south, but she was determined to keep in touch, and all the more determined to keep him content. It was technically (or had been) her job, after all, even if he wasn’t her specific charge.
With Era at her heels in his little fox form, she’d make her trip as quick as possible, sneaking around the old building and knocking carefully at the window, hopefully loud enough for him to hear over the rain and quiet enough not to disturb the others as they slept.
